a film by Anne-Noëlle Gaessler, 35'

The discovery of a world often publicized but in reality unknown: Emmaus communities and their Companions.

What do we know about the man behind the Companion? Gilbert, Bernard, Francis, Roger and others talk about themselves... Who are they? Where do they come from? How do they live with an often painful past, and the present, sort of parenthesis in their lives? What are their hopes?

This films shows with sensitivity the daily life of Companions in their work and environment. A documentary that focuses on speech and life stories.
