Solange Fernex died in september 2006. She was one of the very first activists at the beginning of the ecological fight. This film is a portrait of her who first defend the architectural heritage of her country and also nature and animal life : ecology started at the door of her home.

Then, during the seventies, she was fighting with success against the pollution of industry and especially against nuclear power station. She became Member of the European Parliament during the nineties and continue her fight against weapons, nuclear or not. In this film, shot in her countryside, some months before her death, she tell us her choices, her enthusiasm for ecology, and we discover her own archive film material shot with a super 8 camera during these successful fights of the seventies.
