a film by Jean-Marc Streicher, 88' "Passages" sets out to tell the story of the intertwined fates of four sixth-formers at that age when adolescence is haunted by dreams of somewhere else, of a different life...

A familiar yearning amongst young people faced with the confinement of ordinary days, with a daily life that is oppressive and disappointing, with a world that hurts and damages… From this painful realisation springs a movement: a desire to escape for some, a desire to confront for others… So many different attempts to survive, so many stages in which each person experiences, often bitterly, the weaknesses of their age. Lessons learnt with conviction and necessity, bearing witness in their own way to the disarray and expectations of a generation...
