While stalking the fish eagle, Pierre Mann witnesses the birth of crocodiles and the amazing behaviour of females. His journey takes him to Zambia, where the hippos are engaged in a terrifying battle for territory. On the high plateaus of East Africa, the filmmaker surprises the lion in its most secret intimacy.
