Where Have All the Flowers Gone?
a film by Simone Fluhr, 78'What shapes destiny? Exploring my future, I had to return. Return to what I inherited. A little girl who grew up in an ordinary, rather loving family, where I wanted for nothing. And yet things are going badly, very badly, and I am struggling to become...
Exploring this little story, my own story, trying to grasp something of it, opens up a unique path where multiple voices, silenced, misunderstood, distant, sometimes dead, can be heard. A slow journey through memory, the body, language and history. When heritage hurts, how can we come to terms with it without confronting the pain itself? And thus perhaps be freed from it, delivered from it?
