Fishing in Abene - Senegal
a film by Daniel Coche, 7'To accompany the fishermen, small craftsmen on this coast of Casamance and to discover the daily work of the young Senegalese, on board of pirogues which flush with the surface of the ocean.
For two packets of cigarettes offered to the captain of the canoe, I had the right to accompany them during a morning of fishing. After a while, there is only the top of the large cheese tree in the village as a coastal landmark in his canoes without navigation tools.
